What Henry’s House Provides
Supported Family Time
This service entails low-level supervision of a child and their absent family. Facilitated by safe and qualified support staff, it is suitable for families where there is no identified risk. No significant observation, monitoring, or evaluation is included. Whilst parents are responsible for their children during this family time, our qualified staff are always on hand to offer help, support, and assistance.
Supervised Family Time
In cases where a potential or actual risk has been identified, this service includes highly supervised family time between a child and an absent parent. The priority of our staff is to ensure the physical and emotional safety of the child or children and promote healthy relationships.
Supervised family time is rigorously monitored and recorded to ensure that children are safe and protected. This service can be facilitated within Henry’s House by prior arrangement. Reports are available following this should they be required.
Handover Services
Recognising that separation can be emotionally distressing for both parents and children, we offer handover services on an individual case basis. Henry’s House offers an ideal neutral setting for this to take place, with staff available to provide care and support where needed.
Letterbox Support
Our letterbox support service enables non-resident parents, carers, and relatives to correspond without direct contact. This allows families to send letters, parcels, and cards to one another. We also have support staff that can assist with writing if required.
Escorted Community Family Time
Either supported or supervised within the community, this service enables parents to spend meaningful quality time with their child at community venues, such as the cinema, park, café, or other child-friendly venues where appropriate.
Community Outreach and Activities
At Henry’s House, our experienced and qualified support staff offer community and outreach support for children and young people, utilising the centre to provide some respite to families. Our centre includes:
- A Kitchen Area
- A Games Room
- A large tv Screen for Film Screenings

Drop-off and Pick-up Services
